Confabulation
2 GUIDELINES: If you've found your name in the
list, We will not accept your story without a confirmed copyright release. The releases will be sent to you at the beginning of March. Please be sure we have your correct email address. The
deadline for submitting your
edited story for inclusion in Confabulation 2:
Confabulation 2
The launch will include a huge book signing
event. Authors may bring one copy of a previously published work for sale during the signing. We want you to sell your books, folks, so if you don't have anything ready, just let us know how we can help! Please do NOT ask us to prepare your own book for this event at the last minute. Production of Confabulation 2 begins April 1 without fail and there will be no time for anything else until Confab is finished and ready for the launch. If you have a book you would like to have at the signing, now is the time to let me know. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the editing or the submission process, or questions about the launch, please contact us immediately. ~ NOTE ~ Confabulation 2 is a fundraiser to assist us in the work that we do. Authors do not get paid for inclusion in this book, however, all authors will receive a copy of the book at no cost to them. This is the only anthology/book produced by Wynterblue Publishing that does not pay the author. Authors who are in the short list and who wish to be included in Confabulation 2 must agree to this in their release form. Authors who wish to purchase up to three additional copies of Confabulation 2 may do so at a reduced rate by contacting us prior to ordering. Two dollars from the sale of each Confabulation 2 will go toward the Gail Gernat Northern Ontario Writer's Grant. Confabulation 2 is a public writing contest. The reader is asked to vote for their favourite stories and choose the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place overall winners from the stories that were written during one year of monthly 24 hour writing contests. The authors included in Confabulation 2 will also hold a peer vote. This is a closed vote and conducted only by the authors included in the book. The authors are not permitted to vote for themselves during the peer vote. Confabulation -----
